: : Every evening in Arizona, we see at least 10 McNugget commercials, those dumb ones where they are made to look like people(?). Don't they sell anything else? Too bad McDonald's doesn't have an interactive sight, so we could let them know how they are overkilling all of us!

: Ijust found this site and find it very interesting. I have never worked for McDonalds, I am 40 years old. I do have kids who love Mac's so we are frequent customers. Point is-I've had enough of constantly seeing Mac's new ad campaign with the walking McNuggets, I get disgusted. It is not appealing, is not cute, is over played- it is somehow basically insulting. Put cute fantisy on Saturday morning or prime kid hours, cute conceptual on prime time evenings and insulting off the air. I'm the one with the drivers licience for now we are driving past McDonalds.May

Oh, come on, Tommy and Rick! Lighten up! Where's your humor? I've never seen this commercial, but it sounds like it would be hilarious! If you are in business, you have to get the word out about your product some how, and comedy is one of the best ways to help the consumer remember a good product.

Example: The Milk of Magnesia ad. What homemaker would embarrass her husband or children discussing constipation and the numerous laxatives that cause cramping with a pharmacy employee? The way her embarrassed husband responded was quite funny.

One of my favorite McD's commercials was when they had several former cast members of prior NBC sitcoms ("Leave It To Beaver", Gilligan's Island") crowded into a Mickey D's just being their old character selves. Eddie Haskell in particular being the prankster brownnoser, complimenting Beaver's mother on her "nice sandwich". It was stupid, but stupid is often funny, as it was in this case. By the way, I still like much of Devo's music, especially "Whip It!"

So take it easy, guys! Without funny ads and Devo, life would be that much less interesting.
