: : We are in Albuquerque, NM. My 13 yeard old dau had just won a Karate tournment and went to Mcdonalds to celebrate. The employees made ugly coments about her happy gestures. I went to the store and talked with the manager who was also insulting to me. I had explained that my child is half black and she was doing what the football players do when they get a touvhdown and it was her culture. She was very insulting andf I need help in understand the attitude of the New Mexico McDonalds to their customers my home number is 505-880 8613

: Could you please enlighten us all as to the nature of these "happy gestures." What was she doing that would provoke the typically asinine crew into making "ugly comments." What were these "ugly comments." And tell me that you've never said anything about the way someone was acting like a damn fool in public. What did the manager say when you spoke with her? Were you in anyway threatening or demeaning? Please, we need more information. Also, do you mind if I call you collect?

: Much love,
: Joey

Joey: all teenagers go through eccentric periods and try this or that mannerism;
it's all a part of trying to establish an identity or perhaps maybe find yourself.

The lady didn't indicate that her daughter was being obnoxious or disorderly (If that
were the case, the manager would have a right to ask mother/daughter to keep it down.).
At any rate, it is rude for the staff to comment on the customers' race, appearance, or
harmless mannerisms. That manager needs to be replaced or retake diversity training. And
the staff needs to be shaped up.

By the way, what kind of manager are YOU, in relation to your customers?
