So what if assholes like Saddam Hussein and Hitler have done worse things than McDonalds? How in hell does that make it o.k? If someone kills your parents, or your best friend, are you going to just smile and wipe the special sauce off their chin for them if they say "Well, Saddam and Hitler have done worse things in this world".? What a load of bullshit. The fact is that McDonalds are a greedy bunch of bastards. They're turning over BILLIONS of dollars a year, in more than one hundred countries, from over 20,000 stores, yet they still insist on opening a new restaurant every 8 hours of EVERY day. Sure, fuck global crowding and overpopulation. There's plenty of native animals' habitats to chop into yet, huh?
By the way, being ominvore doesn't mean we're MEANT to eat meat. It just means our bodies are capable of digesting it. And the fact is, humans have an incredibly long oesaphagus (like a cow) which is ideal for digesting ...yep, you guessed it, vegetables and grains. A lot of meat actually putrifies by the time it works its way through your digestive system, which is why the number of meat-eaters with food poisoning is so much higher than vegetarians.
