OOPS!!! I got cut off!

I just noticed that the last of my above message got cut off. Let's try
again! OK, where was I... McD needs to do what it can to keep its good
franchise owners from jumping ship. If the franchise information books
are correct, I don't think the owners are given much flexibility or
autonomy. If corporate does not involve them in the decision-making
very much, then that should change. Yes, there need to be defined
standards in order to maintain the corporate good name, but there should be
a democratic system of adding or changing policies that affect the owners.
Every company goes through not-so-great times once in awhile, but
I'm confident that McD's will take the steps needed to get it back into
top shape, and it will be in better health than ever before.
