Dear NBC Sponsor:

On Friday, February 7, 1997, 10:00 P.M., NBC Channel 13 ran a story entitled "Deadbeat Dads."
I believe the story is irresponsible reporting. The title discriminates against fathers and leaves
the impression that fathers, but not mothers, fail to support their children.

Crucifying fathers and holding them out for ridicule is the wrong message to teach our children
and will only lead to further disrespect for fathers in the home. Your sponsorship of the program
requires that I no longer purchase your products.

Following is a list of advertisers during the news program,

Estee Lauder - Parisian Department Stores
Heart of Alabama Chevy Dealers
Ivan Leonard Chevy
McDonald Hamburgers
Adamson Ford
Long Lewis Ford
Jim Skinner Ford
Jefferson Home Furniture
McRae's Department Store
Serria Toyota
Marvin's Building Supply
