Here's what's wrong with Sproutism

MS: No doubt Quincunx is already furiously typing a response, so I'll suggest a book that I am currently reading (he seems quite fond of recommending books - has he actually read them or does he just get them form the many links to left wing pages he offers as "evidence" of his distorted views?) It is called "Investment Biker - Around the World with Jim Rogers" by Jim Rogers, regularly seen on CNBC. It depicts his journey completely around the world in 91/92, with much observation of various economic systems.

Qx: It looks like the preceding responses were so excellent that I don't need to refute Sproutian ideas of what Communism is and isn't. If he can't clue into our viewpoints then he obviously hasn't been reading the postings here. A good way to start is to scroll to the very bottom and read all the way to the top.

I reviewed Jim Roger's book a whilw back and I'm only slightly impressed. The prose is tailored to appeal to emotions and doesn't address global problems in a real way. Pretty much like Mike Sprout's postings. It's a good marketing ploy and has sold well at bookstands but then so has DIET FOR AMERICA which actually has some neat insights but in the end simply caters to diet faddists. Case closed.
