I would advise you to think about this. It is not as clear cut.
The case of the Zapatistas is interesting. They are an armed movemnet which has successfully combined armed insurrgence and peaceful struggle.They also grew out of a student movement whihc had to flee to chiapas to prevent themselves being sprayed with machine gun fire dispatched by the government.
Interestingly enough Mexico has a Marxist (dogmatic one at that) insurgent force too. Which employ terrorist tactics which I would never consider just.
Think of Robin Hood when he stole from the rich to give to the poor he had to employ a degree of violence. Not every nation is a liberal democracy right? The chinese wouldnt allow me to ferment a revolution.
