: I am writing a paper on the downfall of Communism in the USSR. I would like to hear opinions of Russians, who lived in the USSR during August 1991, on the political situation in their country. I am interested in any well thought out opinions pro- and anti-communism and I would appreciate any help given to me.

YES... Hi... I lived in the USSR for 10 years and I have a great deal to tell you. I am tottaly pro-communism! It was just great seeing my Dad (a chemist) have all the same benefits as my doctor.. it was nice to see everyone being equal but a sense of REAL communism was still missing... in ittle towns such as my town of Erd everyone was equal and it was sort of like a big family (population of this city: 10,000) we all knew that the communist leaders had it made and frankly thats just wrong. As Marx wrote it EVERYONE should be equal now this may be true but it was sort of done in classes.. not how Marx said it... in the USSR (or CCCP) there was the working class and the high class! High class were the high political party members and the working class was everyone else. If you would like to chat more please send me some e-mail to: zeus2000@the-pentagon.com. Also I would love to read your essay and alsoafter studying communism I wish to hear YOUR opinion on it (weather communism is oood or bad).

By the way if you want to compare Bad communism and good communism please look up Tito and make sure to include him in your essay since many people don't know him he is just considered another communist but yet he was the very few who actually made Communism WORK.. can you believe it OH yeah and also the infamous Castro was good too.. did you know that in the ages of the USSR it was the cleanest and best eduactated country in Latin America??? It was thnaks to support from the USSR!!!

Well thats all for now... please e-mail me...
