Do You Believe in Self-Government?

In you title you assert:

I say:

In a democratic society, the people govern. In a capitalistic society, the people are governed by the highest bidder. Lets not kid ourselves.

You conclude:

" With a freedom to chose and provide viable alternatives, the people themselves can and will eventually find the answer that is right for THEM. No other method allows so many people to supply viable alternatives or even useless items for everybody else."

I say:

Democracy is the ultimate method to supply "viable alternatives", where everyone has a voice, and votes are not equal to the number of dollars one has.

Let's stop worrying about the "government" and start self-governing.
