: Maybe the theories of Social Darwism are correct. Maybe these societies have existed but the stronger and more perfectly evolved systems won out. Maybe ideally these systems seem better, but when put into pratice, human nature (for better or worse) defeated them.

In nearly every debate I have ever been party to where theology/politics/ideology are involved, the Social Darwinists are likely backing religion and and conservative policies, and those that would dispute religion and acknowledge evolution are likely backing a philosophy that we are somehow above our animal bretheren and capable of a different way of life than "dog-eat-dog". It is kind of ironic, don't you think?

Those that deny they have instincts act the most instinctively, and those that acknowledge their animal selves attempt a more other worldly way of life.
