Opinions on Silicon Valley

What do all the anti-capitalists think about Silicon Valley? That is a place where basically all you need is an idea and hard work and the sky's the limit. The people work 24 hours a day not because they're exploited, but because they love what they're doing so much they can't leave (well, the successful ones do). The workers share in much of the wealth generated by their companies because of the stock options given to them. Is this a rare example of capitalism's success, or are there some flaws I'm not picking up on?

Incidentally, if you have the chance, I highly recommend the Business Week special edition on Silicon Valley (it came out last week, I think).
