Well, all I can say is that the USSr was state-capitalist and the USA is also state-capitalist. There are differences of degree of course but in the USA the propaganda system is far more insidious while at the same time on-conspiratorial and not a monolithic entity. But it sure works well judging by the postings of some people who feel that capitalism is the fairest thing we have got to live by. Just my opinion. None.
