: A few more things to ponder, fellow worker and comrade:

: ô no one said that any of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had everything in commonö (Acts 4:32).

: ôThere was not a needy person among them, for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them;...and distribution was made to each as any had needö (Acts 4:34-35).

: ôI do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened, but that as a matter of equality your abundance at the present time should supply their want, so that their abundance may supply your want, so that there may be equalityö (2 Corinthians 8:13-15).

: So much for "godless" communism!

It is always best not to take things out of the context surrounding the scripture which you misquoted. Acts 5:3-11 speaks neither for nor against any world political system. In verse 4 Peter remarked "Didn't it BELONG TO YOU before it was sold? And after it was sold wasn't the money at YOUR DISPOSAL? .... You have not llied to men but to God." Ananias and Sapphira made the mistake commonly made today - thinking they were lying to other men.
Your attempts at extracting support for socialism (which is antitheistic, if Lenin and Marx are to be believed) ) from the Scriptures will qualify you for handicap parking.
