I think that Capitalism is the best system, but it is dangerous for it's supporters to assume that it is inevitable.Consider Rocky's Capitalist Arab trader. Ignoring the possibility of slaves (very un-capitalist) in his hold, assume he is a real Capitalist. What happenen to him? Today many Arab nations are ruled by theocracies that go so far as to prohibit the charging of interest on loans!
Capitalism comes about not through natural selection or historical inevitablility. Capitalism comes about through the choices humans make about how to organize. And these choices can move us backwards as well as forwards.
We cannot sit on our butts and wait for "history" to depose the dictators in the Third World and the anti-capitalist sentiments in many of the world's democracies. We must be proactive and spread the word that everybody can own their labor, that everybody can be free.
