On capitalism and its foundation

Some people have asked what is wrong with capitalism. Some have claimed that any alternatives to capitalism will defy human nature.

We throw out surplus food from our enormous production, in a world that starves.
We force vulgar and senseless ideals on ourselves through commercialism and advertising.
We have enough money and resources to abolish hunger and poverty, but we don't.
We are able to produce the required power and materials without the use of fossil fuels, but instead we destroy the environment.

All that is done in the name of small bills with numbers on them.

And if that is human nature, I am claiming the right not to be human.

PS: I apologize for all my late replies to people's posts, but a death in my family took my mind off writing.
