I am continually amazed by the ignorance of
people living under Capitalism today. It is a
testament to the success of our governments lies
and propaganda. Did you know that the US
government pioneered the successful use of
propaganda. Why did we finally jump into WWI?
The Germans did nothing to us that realistically
should have compelled us to enter the war.
We had no border disputes with them. They began
sinking our boats because we were supporting the
British and French war effort on credit! None of
that money was paid back! The Germans had good
reason to sink our ships. When the Germans were
finally defeated we made them pay for the costs
of the war even though we were responsible for
the escalation of the war. That caused the
German economy to sink into depression and made
the acceptance of a fascist dictator possible.
How does that get you: the US is responsible for
WWII and somewhat indirectly the holocaust. So
next time you decide to believe that the US is
the fairest country around look at our history
and all the crappy stuff we did to screw up the
world. So next time you listen to what the
government tells you think about how much of it
is lies.
