: well terry, if your gonna start preaching to us veggies about how wrong we are, im gonna preach right back to you. first of all,get your facts straight: the land that one cow grazes off of could feed 20 vegetarians for a year! so dont start thinking that if we stopped eating animals everyone would go hungry. in fact, less people would go hungry if we didnt eat animals. and there are other sources of protein and iron besides meat. ever heard of peanut butter, nuts, beans, and lentils? and to answer your question "what would happen to all the animals if we stopped eating them?": they would be a whole lot better off. they wouldnt be denied the basics of life, and would not be mass produced or cruelly killed just so you can have one little hamburger. and i hate to break it to you, but us veggies will probably live a lot longer than you. eating meat gives you a 70% better chance of dying of a heart attack, and a 20% better chance of dying from cancer. obviously you have no clue what you are talking about, its fairly obvious from your letter. and actually, man is not naturally carnivorous. havent you ever heard the story of adam and eve? they only ate the vegetables that grew in the garden of eden. so dont tell us to start living in the real world. i think its time for you to grow up.
