Organize

As has been proven time and again, big business paternalism has no concern for the best interest of the worker.

McDonalds assumes that because many of its workers are young and consider themselves to be employed in the fast food industry temporarily, that the cohesiveness needed to organize for collective bargaining does not exist. However, whether you are htere for six months or one year, you deserve a safe environment with guaranteed hours and wages and job security. Organize, Publicize, and shut McDonalds down until they agree to collective bargaining. Then the other fast food employees will follow. Read up on the sit-down strikes of the 1930's, particularly involving General Motors. The workers then faced many of the same obstacles. But they prevailed and the largest corporation in the world had to knuckle under to the union.
