MR. MORRIS: This might be a little bit chaotic today because
I am not fully prepared. The references that you
indicated yesterday, Jim Nations' article as printed in
       the magazine 'Environment' --

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let me just find my note.

MR. MORRIS: There is obviously quite a lot of good references
in that article in general. In fact, the whole of it.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, but do you have the reference in the
       pages, that is the thing?

MR. MORRIS: Yes, it is on page 18.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Which volume is it?

MR. MORRIS: I am sorry, it should be in our Civil
       Evidence Act notice statements.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Right. But I mean --

MR. MORRIS: Sorry, did you want to know where that was?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Well, I want you to have some sympathy with
my position, which is this basically, that of course if
you say it is in Mr. Nations' Civil Evidence Act notice
statement, I can get down an index, I can look in the
index or I can take down the pale blue volumes one by one
until I find the one that Mr. Nations is in. But it adds
an awful lot of time to the time I have got to take.
Whereas if you just say pale blue this, Mr. Nations'
Civil Evidence Act statement.... Do not bother with it
       now.

MR. RAMPTON: I will do it so far as I can.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: If Mr. Rampton or anyone can help....
I can do it myself. It just adds to the time I have to
take and it saves me the time if you can find it.

MR. RAMPTON: It is pale blue 1C.

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. RAMPTON: Section L, number 2. I do not know whether that
is an article. It is certainly the original Civil
Evidence Act statement by Dr. Nations.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Right. Thank you very much. You have got
some page numbers in the article there?

MR. MORRIS: Can I just say that, you know, I do have every
sympathy with, you know, the amount of documentation that
we all have to look through and I wish I had all the
references. To be honest, it is a miracle I am standing
here coming up with any kind of submission because we are
completely exhausted, our papers are not in the best of
