MR. MORRIS: I am just sorting out my papers, as they are all
       over the place.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. I see I have, Mr. Glen tells me, a
       CV of Professor Campbell.

  MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I already had the letter of 22nd August.

MR. MORRIS: Yes. We were not sure what was in the trial
bundles and what had been served.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let me tell you what I have. I have in what
is pale blue volume C, at divider H, tab 3, a fax dated
27th July 1994, addressed to Mr. Cox. It refers to a
signed statement sent earlier by E mail, but I do not have
that, and there is no reason why I should have that; it is
       entirely a matter for you.

MR. MORRIS: I cannot even remember ever seeing one.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Then I have an article by Professor Campbell
and his Chinese colleague, which was published in the
       American Journal of Nutrition.

  MR. MORRIS: 1994, yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: That is right. I then have a copy of the
       letter dated 22nd August, 1995 ---

  MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: -- which puts quite shortly
Professor Campbell's view, but also encloses a copy of the
chapter summarising much of the published China Project
findings to date, and a companion chapter discussing the
       findings in relation to the general issue on dietary fat;
and, as far as I am aware, I have copies of both those
       chapters.

MR. MORRIS: You do have them?

  MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. MORRIS: I could not remember if I had served them. I have
       spare copies.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think you must have done, because I have a
chapter, The Dietary Causes of Degenerative Diseases; and
then I have a chapter, Diet and Western Disease. The first
is by Professor Campbell and the second is by Norman
       J. Temple.

MR. MORRIS: OK. I do not remember that one, actually. I do
not know where that one comes from.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Anyway, the essential thing is that
