17 MR. RAMPTON: Professor Naismith, are your full names Donald
18 Johnstone Naismith?
19 A. They are, yes.

21 Q. Were you, until, I forget when but until fairly recently,
22 Professor of Nutrition at Kings College University in
23 London?
24 A. I was, yes.

26 Q. You were until when?
27 A. Two years ago.

29 Q. I was not far off. Are you now emeritus Professor?
30 A. I am emeritus Professor.

32 Q. Just in case we do not know what emeritus Professor is can
33 you tell us, paying due regard to your --?
34 A. That is the title that is conferred by the university,
35 usually on Professors who have an established chair, who it
36 is thought have made major contributions in their subject.

38 Q. Have you got with you there in the witness box a copy of
39 the report which you made for the purpose of these
40 proceedings?
41 A. Yes, I have that.

43 Q. Is there with it a two page curriculum vitae or not?
44 A. No. But I am familiar with what is in the curriculum
45 vitae.

53 your report, which my copy runs to 12 pages without the
54 bibliography or the references?
55 A. I think, yes, yes.
