     3   MS. STEEL:   I wanted to hand some documents that I only got
     4        last night.

     6   MR. JUSTICE BELL:  Yes.

     8   MS. STEEL:  If possible, if the witness could have a chance to
     9        read it before we start -- if possible, if the witness
    10        could have a chance to read one, in particular, before we
    11        start the cross-examination again.

    13   MR. JUSTICE BELL:  Yes.  Which is the one you want Dr. Gomez
    14        Gonzalez to read first?

    16   MS. STEEL:  The scientific paper; the other one I will not be
    17        asking about just yet.

    19   MR. JUSTICE BELL:  What I suggest is, I will not read them
    20        myself yet because if you refer to parts of them I will
    21        read them, those parts, but I will go away until quarter to
    22        11.

    24   MS. STEEL:  There is also another which, unfortunately, I have
    25        not enough copies of.

    27   MR. JUSTICE BELL:  How many copies have you?

    29   MS. STEEL:  I have one that I have marked and then another one
    30         -- it is a fairly short article.

    32   MR. JUSTICE BELL:  If you give that to Mr. Riley -- would you
    33        mind making half a dozen copies of it?

    35   MR. MORRIS:  Can I say for the record we have handed in the
    36        proposed pleadings amendments?

    38   MR. JUSTICE BELL:  I will read such parts of these documents as
    39        and when they are put to the witnesses, but I will take
    40        away your proposed amendment.  I will read that and I will
         come back at a quarter to 11.

    53        yesterday and Mr. Rampton actually said that he wanted to
    54        see a copy of the report that I mentioned.  I rang up about
    55        that report and it could not be found, so a different one
    56        was sent but on the same subject.

    59        the documents are available before a witness comes into the
