Description of Highsieg scenario This scenario pits the forces of light against the forces of darkness in High Rock Castle. High Rock Castle is being held by a large force of Goblins and Trolls, supported by Domug Archers, Minotaur Engineers, and a few Dread Knights. A combined force of Humans, Dwarfs and Elves are prepairing to retake the castle. The Attackers have a small group of engineers and warriors positioned south west area of the map. This will allow the Attackers to launch an immediate attacak on two fronts. The Defenders while out numbered slightly they are not out classed. The scenario has proven to be a balanced battle in the truest sense. It has proven to be an interesting challenge for either side. Listed below are the troop types and numbers for each side. Defenders Attackers Domug Archers 450 Dwarf Axe Thrower 100 Dread Knights 35 Dwarf Elite Warrior 300 Elite Goblin Warriors 1000 Dwarf Engineer 400 Minotaur Engineers 500 Dwarf Hero 25 Troll Warriors 1000 Dwarf Sergeant 350 Ballista 20 Dwarf Warrior 700 Catapults 15 Human Archer 150 Oil 500 Human Beserker 250 Flags 40 Human Hero 25 Human Warrior 700 Elf Elite Archer 200 Elf Archer 350 Siege Tower 2 Ladders 220 Bridges 60 Battering Rams 2 Ballista 6 Catapults 10 Oil 150 Flags 30 While the attackers list is twice a long they only out number the Defenders by a small margin (about 500 I think). The scenario balances quite nicely. This is my first attempt at a siege scenario, I feel it is a good one. I downloaded every scenario that was available in the transfer section and was extremly disappointed. Some of the scenario's were amusing, most were so unrealistic and unbalanced that playing them proved to be a waste of time (although, I did win several of the "hopeless" scenarios). I'm not knocking anybody just voicing an opinion. For those of you interested in creating scenarios please include a list of the units used (as above) and a brief description of what the scenario is about. This helps give the player an Idea as to what he or she is fighting for and enhances game play. My creative style is one of balance if you haven't noticed and this shall be reflected in most (not all, I believe in some anarchy) of the scenarios I create. If you have an Idea for a scenario but lack the time to create it your self drop me a line, I'll see what I can do you.
