SETTINGS.TXT - Henk Kelder This file contains most of the DOS settings a I know them. I can, however, NOT guarrantee that all the information in this file is correct. Syntax: SET keyname=value; [comment] Should you need to use a comma(,) or a semicolon(;) in any value place a caret(^) in front of the comma or semicolon. See the example for DOS_VERSION. Each SET line should be on one and ONLY one line. You cannot continue a SET command on a new line. HINT 1: If you use my WPSBKP program version 1.11 (from WPTOOL09 or higher) you can copy the lines starting with SET in the backup file. The format of these lines is exactly the same. HINT 2: Only include a setting in a settings file if you need it. Leave out all default lines (or put a star in front). WARNING: Please be very carefull when creating a settings file. An incorrect format of several SET .. lines can lead to TRAP E's.
