When using the E Editor and try- ing to save a new file to a NetWare drive an "ERROR OPENING THE FILE" message is displyed. Novell is aware of this problem an is currently working on it. E can be executed from a netware drive and then a new file can be saved to a non-netware drive with no problem. E can also edita file that already exists on a netware drive and then save it without any problem. LOCAL FIX: Save file to a local drive, or create an empty file before using E.EXE to edit/save a file on a NetWare drive.
