ERROR DESCRIPTION:
Novell Requester for OS/2 2.0. When using the E Editor and try-
ing to save a new file to a NetWare drive an "ERROR OPENING THE
FILE" message is displyed. Novell is aware of this problem an is
currently working on it. E can be executed from a netware drive
and then a new file can be saved to a non-netware drive with no
problem. E can also edita file that already exists on a netware
drive and then save it without any problem.



LOCAL FIX:
Save file to a local drive, or create an empty file before using
E.EXE to edit/save a file on a NetWare drive.


PROBLEM SUMMARY: Problem is inherent in this release of the
Netware OS/2 requester.


PROBLEM CONCLUSION: Fixed next release of the Netware Requester
for OS/2.

SOFTWARE: OS/2 v2.0 and OS/2 NetWare requester v2.0.

HARDWARE: Fails on PS/2s.

RECREATE: Load the OS/2 NetWare NETBIOS.SYS module in
config.sys. After the system has IPL'ed, open two MVDMs. Run
NETBIOS.EXE in both sessions. Type exeit at one of the MVDM
prompts. At this point you will get the following trap:

LOCAL FIX:
Novell is aware of the problem and working on it. The README
file that accompanies the OS/2 NetWare requester diskette.


PROBLEM SUMMARY: Loading multiple VDMs with NETBIOS, and then
exiting a VDM caused a trap.


PROBLEM CONCLUSION: Fixed in the 2.01 requester.
