                     What is Friends Network?
                     ------------------------

   Friends Network started with a group of friends who have the intention
   of offering quality discussions on various different topics arising
   from each ones own board and to be able to offer BBS's everywhere a
   Canadian based echomail network which in no way restricts itself only
   to a certain group of people but hopefully to the international community.
  
   Friends Network solely relies on the conference traffic of other boards
   in the network and it's own to generate a meaningful, sober , clean, fun
   and proffesional style of messaging as each member is allowed to contrib-
   ute to its growth in suggestions of future conferences which makes this
   network even more unique in it's own sense that YOU as a Sysop will be
   helping the growth of Friends Network.

   Friends Network is also managed and run from each one's own finances
   and is thereby not affiliated with any particular groups or sponsors.
   

                          How can I apply?
                         ------------------


    Provided is an application form FRIENDS.APP which you can fill out and
    send to your nearest board/hub, board telephone numbers are listed at the
    end of each application form. Processing will take anywhere from 24 Hrs
    to a couple of days. Please make sure your voice number is stated clearly
    in order to be able to issue you a node number as fast as possible.



                    How much will it cost to join?

     Friends Network is a non-profit echomail network and therefore is no
     fee charged whatsoever.
