To save your connection settings to a file

  1. Create a new connection or Reestablish a prior connection.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Specify the connection settings that you want for this connection, (such as screen size, automatic logon information, and performance options). For more information, see Change Connection Settings.
  4. On the General tab, click Save As.
  5. Enter a file name for the saved connection file, and then click Save.
