To provide information for automatic logon

  1. In the Remote Desktop Connection window, click Options.

  2. On the General tab, under Logon settings, in the User name box, verify that your user name is correct.
  3. In the Log on to box, type the workgroup or domain to automatically log on to (if required).
  4. Optionally, clear the I'll provide my password at connection time check box, and then enter your password in the Password box.
  5. Click Connect.
