Delete a Joint

To delete a joint from your structural model:

1. Click the on the
2. Click on the joint you want to delete; the joint will turn light blue to indicate that it has been selected.
3. Click on the to delete the selected joint.

Notes and Tips

You must be in the Drawing Board Mode to delete a joint.

The Delete key on your keyboard performs the same function as the Delete button on the toolbar.

You can only delete one joint at a time. Multiple selection of is not allowed.

When you delete a joint, all attached to that joint are also deleted.

You cannot delete the joints that were created automatically by the West Point Bridge Designer 2010 when you started the design.

You can also remove a joint from your by erasing it.

If you accidentally delete a joint, click the to restore it.
