MATH.ZIP contains Jon Maber's ToolBook application
which attempts to convey some basic concepts to
first year biological science students of average
mathematical ability (i.e. innumerate).

The file has been updated (as of 19th Oct 1993).  Mostly
this has been cosmetic (equations have been put in using
metafiles instead of bitmaps for example.)

It has an email feature now which was put in to provide data
logging.  It relies on you having pegasus mail on your network.
For this reason I have disabled the feature on the version of
the software on this archive but you may contact me if you wish to
have this enabled on your network.  (or adapted for use with 
another email program.)

There is also a simple facility for email messages.  The book has
the a small directory of tutors addresses and the user can type their
message and send without the need to start up a mail program or to
exit the maths book.
