TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER - MULTIPLE POSITIONS
Join EFI, the highly regarded manufacturer of the Fiery XJ RIP and our technical
support department in providing color printing and image processing support.
A BS and 2+ years experience in a digital color graphics or equivalent
are required. A solid understanding of the Macintosh OS, Windows 3.x/95/NT,
and networking is beneficial. High level communication skills, and the ability
to be self motivated are essential. Some travel may be required.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER - NETWORKING
We are seeking a networking expert to join our technical support department
in color printing and image processing support. Bring us your BS and 2+
years of experience with supporting NTAS, TCP/IP & EtherTalk networks.
Network experience pertaining to printing will be highly regarded. Knowledge
of UNIX, Mac OS, Windows 3.x/95/NT is highly desirable. High level communication
skills, and the ability to be self motivated are essential. Some travel
may be required.
NATIONAL FIELD SUPPORT ENGINEER
Join EFI, the highly regarded manufacturer of the Fiery XJ RIP and our Field
technical support team in providing pre-sales color printing and image processing
support. As the technical link to our OEM partners in the field, the FSE
is considered to be an expert on all EfI products, as well as customer applications.
Main responsibilities include pre-sales support, technical product training
of the OEMs support staff, setup and support of major events sponsored by
EfI (i.e. technical seminars and trade shows), supporting the sales process
when warranted, and occasional on site troubleshooting of installations.
High level communication/presentation skills, and the ability to be self
managed and motivated are essential. A BS with a minimum of 3 years experience
in a pre-press/desktop publishing/color printing or related environment
are required. Macintosh and PC experience is required with a good understanding
of all operating systems (system 7.5+, Windows 3.x/NT/'95), an understanding
of major networks and protocols (Appletalk, Novell and TCP/IP at minimum),
and a working knowledge of common desktop publishing applications. This
position requires extensive travel. Relocation may be required.
TECHNICAL TRAINER
EFI is seeking an energetic and mutitalented Technical Trainer to join our
growing training department. This position will involve development and
delivery of evolving course materials. You will train EFI's OEM partners
and end users on Fiery related technology including Installation of Fiery
Color Servers, Networked Printing Solutions and Desktop Color Reproduction.
You will interface with EFI Engineering and Technical Support staff to assess
new product releases and determine related training needs. A strong technical
background and 2 years of training development and delivery experience are
required. Experience in a Digital Color Printing / Desktop Publishing industry
is strongly desired. Some travel will be required.
