OPERATIONS MANAGER

EFI has an exciting and visible opportunity for an Operations Manager. The qualified candidate will be responsible for implementing production requirements with key subcontractors to ensure production goals, quality and cost objectives are met. Frequently interacts with all levels within EFI and their subcontractors. Ability to effectively and efficiently influence EFI employees and subcontractors to avoid schedule and quality delays. Familiar with System Integration and Test (SIT) and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing and processes is highly desirable. 8-10 years of manufacturing experience with strong emphasis in materials management. Will be an integral member of the manufacturing team and will be a key participate in the decision making process. Bachelors degree in a technical/manufacturing discipline or equivalent. Excellent verbal, written and team skills are necessary.



SR. BUYER/PLANNER

You'll have responsibility for inventory, purchasing, production scheduling and planning. This may include checking requisitions, obtaining quotations, examining bids and making awards. You'll need the ability to develop new supply sources, as well as coordinate purchasing activities with Manufacturing

and Engineering Departments to maintain planned inventory levels. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as at least 5 years' experience in a fast-paced purchasing environment and 3+ years' management experience. Good communication and judgement skills are key. Thorough knowledge of SMT is a must. Handling problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors is critical. Knowledge of QAD a plus.



DOCUMENT CONTROL CLERK

EFI is looking for self starter to join the Document Control organization. This individual will work with EFI's Configuration Control Analyst in the coordination and control of EFI manufacturing/engineering documentation, quality records, and change control processes. Specific responsibilities include the coordination of document distribution to EFI customers and subcontractors, development of change order and product structure documentation, and file maintenance of EFI product documents and records.

Good written and verbal communication skills in addition to expertise in Microsoft Word/Excel is required. 1 - 3 years experience in a document control or file maintenance environment is preferred.



PRODUCTION /RMA PLANNER

Manufacturing 2045

 

As a Production Planner, this person will be responsible for factory scheduling of warranty and repair demands, and will be the primary customer contact for all returned materials. Position responsibilities include inventory control and material movement of failed materials, coordinating the disposition of failed material, and process and procedure definition for warranty and repair. This person should also progress towards system or spares factory scheduling (production control) and master scheduling. This position requires 6-8 years of Materials Management in Production Control, Inventory Control, and/or Master Scheduling. It also requires a proven ability to drive process improvement, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
