Having made that decision, many just diddle around waiting for something to happen, which it often doesn’t. There is a hunger to be good at something. A so-called “trade-school” can be a good answer, and it fortunately is an answer that is rapidly losing a second-best reputation. OK. How do you find out about trade schools? Getting Skilled is the best I’ve seen on the subject by far. If you counsel students it will help you a lot. It also lists many schools in a huge appendix.
