I was always terrified that I would see my other mother there and she would want to take me home with her again. That’s because when I was in foster care we had monthly visits—my mother and I—in the playroom at the agency. • Sometimes I think about my first mother—like I wonder if she’s lonely and if she’s worked out all her problems. I hope she has a better life. It must be hard for her not to have her kids and it would be nice if the agency people told her what a happy life Lauren and I have now. Now that the adoption is final, I’d like to see her again. I still remember what she looks like—she has short brown hair and brown eyes and she looks just like me. -- part contents for background part 26 ----- text ----- • WHOLE EARTH • HEALTH • FERTILITY • Adoption -- part contents for background part 27 ----- text ----- 04037218 -- part contents for background part 40 ----- text ----- card id 4357 -- part contents for background part 41 ----- text ----- card id 7929 -- part contents for background part 42 ----- text ----- stack "WHOLE EARTH" stack "HEALTH" card id 50125 card id 194050 -- part contents for background part 37 ----- text ----- card id 194050 -- part contents for background part 38 ----- text ----- card id 9346 -- part contents for background part 39 ----- text ----- card id 8117
