Under Linux, the system administrator is called "root" by default (root signifies the root of the Linux file system tree structure). This user has all rights on the system, unlike "non privileged" users. You must enter here twice in a row, and without being echoed on the screen, a password for the "root" user. It must contain at least 6 characters.
When the system is restarted, you have to type "root" for the "login" and the chosen password for "password".
Do not forget the root password!
