At this point in the installation, you can configure your ethernet card if you own one. If you don't own one, skip this section.
First of all, you have to choose the type of your ethernet card. First try "Autoprobe" to attempt an automatic detection. If the detection fails, specify the characteristics manually (e.g. io=0x340, irq=7). If your card already works under Windows, the parameters will certainly be the same. In the worst of cases, skip this step and reconfigure your network once Linux has been installed.
The remainder of this configuration gives you the option of inputting all the parameters linked to your network connection. Ask your system administrator for advice if it isn't you!
