Installing "WORLD CUP"
--------------------
Installation of "World Cup" includes the installation of QuickTime 2.0
and Indeo 3.22 which are necessary for the application to run correctly.

WINDOWS :
	There are two ways to launch the installation program:
	Run D:\INSTALL.EXE (assuming D is the letter of your CD-ROM drive)
	from the File menu in the Program Manager,
	or
	Select the CD-ROM drive from the File Manager, 
	and double-click on INSTALL.EXE.

	When you see the message :
	"The World Cup group has been created in the Program Manager",
	click on "OK".

	The program continues with the installation of :
	Quicktime for Windows 2.0.

	If previous versions of QuickTime are found, they are listed
	in an "Important Installation Message" window.
	Click on "Remove" to delete them from your system.

	When you see the message :
	"Installation was successful !",
	click on "OK"

	The installation is complete.

	Restart Windows.


MAC :
	Drag the QUICKTIME and INDEO icons over the System Folder 
	of your MACINTOSH and restart the computer.

Running and quitting WORLD CUP
-----------------------------

WINDOWS :
	To start the program, double-click on the WORLD CUP icon 
	which was created in the Program Manager on installation.
	To quit the program, click on the QUIT icon on the bottom right 
	of the screen or use the ALT-F4 keys on your keyboard.

MAC :
	To start the program, double click on the WORLD CUP icon 
	on the CD-ROM.
	To quit the program, click on the QUIT icon on the bottom right 
	of the screen or use the COMMAND-Q keys on your keyboard.

256 / thousand color modes  
-------------------------

WORLD CUP works on monitors in 256 and thousand (65.535) color modes.

To change color mode, use the appropriate utility program :

WINDOWS:
	Windows Installation from the Program Manager

MAC:
	CONTROL PANEL, MONITORS

Memory
-------

WORLD CUP needs 6 Mb of free memory (6.144 Kb). 
If your system does not have the 6 Mb free memory :
quit applications which are running, close background tasks
(network, modem-fax, ...).

If this is not enough, try to free system memory of elements
which are not necessary :

WINDOWS :
	Check and modify AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, 
	the STARTUP group in Windows and restart your computer.

MAC :
	Check and modify the  EXTENSIONS and CONTROL PANEL Folders
	in the System Folder and restart your computer


If this is still not enough, create or increase the virtual memory 
in your system. This will use hard disk space as if it was RAM memory:

WINDOWS :
	In the Program Manager, Control Panel, Extended 386

MAC :
	CONTROL PANEL, MEMORY
