Preview

The preview window shows a preview of the timeline video. When not playing back video it shows the frame at the timeline's cursor position.

Play/Pause

Press the play/pause button to start/stop playback of the sequence. Playback starts from the current cursor position. Pressing the space bar also starts/stops playback.

Change timeline cursor position

Move to the begin of sequence

Move to the previous cut in the sequence

Move to the next cut in the sequence

Move to the end of sequence

Change playback speed

The playback speed can be adjusted. Press the rightmost button in the preview window to change the playback speed. Particularly, this can be applied when using region marking to make an initial selection of what video to keep/remove.

Note that audio pitch is maintained regardless of the playback speed.
