How to set the language to English when set to German:
Menu Spezialwerkzeug — Sprache — Englisch

The changed setting is in effect after next restart.

Attention: setting the language matters only the hard-programmed part of the menu tree. For the tag menu and the attribute context menu, the files GUI/attmenu.htm and GUI/tagmenu.htm are to translate. See Tag-Menu and attribute context menu.
