Customizing Tidy
In the professional version, this editor can be used productively in the document management system Schematext. (For details, ask the Author.) Schematext offers extended tags.
Tidy can "learn" new tags, but if they correspond with well-known HTML tags, e. g. if some table rows are hidden by the tag ignore, then Tidy "thinks" the table is erraneous and tries to repair it.
In this case, Tidy shouldn't be used as checking instance.
