Joining Tag Areas

to join two touching equal-named tag areas: Menu Edit — Join Tag Area

For joining e. g. two elements of <p>, put the cursor right of the closing tag </p> and press the delete key until the paragraphs touch. Then, use this command.

Works then similar the backspace key in a word processor.

Also reachable with the backspace and delete key, see keyboard shortcuts.

The keyboard shortcuts are the recommended way.
