You can switch the program so that on loading, the source code is checked by the syntax checker Tidy.
If it's sure that your documents are error-free and respect the standard XHTML, there's no need of tidy.
If your documents are made with an older editor, it can occur that closing tags are missing, or the tag names aren't all lower-case. In this case, load your documents by Tidy.
The changed setting is in effect immediately.
