QuickTime, QuickTime VR, and QuickDraw 3D/VRML

Internet Explorer support for QuickTime, QuickTime VR, and QuickDraw 3D opens the World Wide Web to exciting new digital video formats and three-dimensional sites and elements that are based on Virtual Reality Markup Language (VRML). To view digital video formats, you need to install QuickTime version 2.5 or later from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/.

QuickDraw 3D is required to view Virtual Reality Markup Language.

Attention QuickTime 3.0 users: Internet Explorer version 4.5 ships with QuickTime plug-in version 1.1.1, which is compatible with QuickTime version 3.0 and earlier. Although compatible, the added functionality of QuickTime 3.0, such as quick-start, is not available using the Internet Explorer plug-in version. Install QuickTime plug-in version 2.0 or later into the Internet Explorer plug-ins folder to access additional features. The plug-in may already be on your system in a different plug-ins folder if you previously upgraded to version 3.0. A simple way to find out is to open the hard drive, press [Command]-F, and search for QuickTime plugin on your hard drive. If a later version is located, copy it to the Internet Explorer 4.5 Plug-ins folder.
