Sending a link to a Web site in a mail message

Changing your default mail or news program

• Point to and hold down the mouse on the Mail button on the Button Bar, and then click Read News.

• The default news program for Internet Explorer is Microsoft Outlook Express. For more information on Outlook Express visit http://www.microsoft.com/mac/ie/macoe.htm.

To open your mail program

• Point to and hold down the mouse on the Mail button on the Button Bar, and do one of the following:
  • If you want to start a new message, click New Message.
  • If you want to read messages, click Read Mail.

To send a link to a Web site in a mail message

1. Visit the Web site.
2. Point to and hold down the mouse on the Mail button on the Button Bar and click Send Link.
3. Your mail program opens with the link pasted into the new message.

To change your default mail or news program

1. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
2. Under Network, click Protocol Helpers.
3. To change your default mail program, click mailto, and then click Change.
   To change your default news program, click news, and then click Change.
4. Click Choose Helper.
5. Select the program you want to use to read mail or news, and then click OK.
