The following models are supported: - ThinkPad 760E(*1), 760EL(*2), and 760ED - ThinkPad 560 Note: (*1) The ThinkPad 760E that has XGA(1024x768) panel is supported. (This problem occurred only when the driver Version 1.01 was used.) - (Fix) The DOS full screen (VGA mode 00h, 01h, 04h, 05h, or 0Dh) now synchronizes on TV (NTSC overscan or underscan mode). - (Fix) The DOS full screen (all VGA modes) now synchronizes on TV (PAL overscan or underscan mode). - (Fix) The Windows desktop is no longer disturbed for a moment when an AVI file is opened using MediaPlayer with 1024x768, 64K colors, and 75Hz on the CRT. - (Fix) The bottom line and the rightmost line are now displayed when the virtual screen is used. - (Fix) Pixels are no longer corrupted when the virtual screen is used in 16M colors. - (Fix) (ThinkPad 560 DSTN model only) A hardware cursor no longer corrupts during the switch of the display device to LCD-only from CRT-only and while the resolution is changed. - (Fix) Underline no longer appears under a certain special character during the transition to the DOS full screen. - (Fix) Characters are no longer broken during the return to the DOS full screen from the windowed DOS full screen after the display mode (VGA mode) has been set. - (Fix) (ThinkPad 560 DSTN model only) The DOS full screen no longer blacks out during a repeat of the switch between the DOS full screen and the Windows desktop. - (Fix) The overlay position no longer shifts when the LCD screen expansion is toggled on and off while an AVI file is being played back with MediaPlayer. - (Fix) The overlay position no longer shifts during the return to the Windows desktop from the DOS full screen with 1024x768/256 colors and 75Hz mode, or 1280x1024/256 colors and 43.5Hz interlace mode. - (Fix) The playback window no longer appears in unusual colors when an AVI file is opened with a second MediaPlayer while an AVI file is played back with the first MediaPlayer in 64K colors. - (Fix) The overlay position no longer shifts during the switch of the display device between TV and LCD when the LCD screen expansion is enabled. - (Fix) Characters are no longer broken in the DOS full screen after you switch between the DOS full screen and the Windows desktop by pressing the Alt+Esc keys. - (Fix) (ThinkPad 560 DSTN model only) The overlay position no longer shifts when an AVI file is played back with 640x480 and 256 colors on the LCD. - (Fix) (ThinkPad 560 DSTN model only) Playback is now done with a hardware overlay when an AVI file is played back using MediaPlayer with 1024x768 and 256 colors or 64K colors on the CRT. - (Fix) LCD screen expansion setting of the Windows desktop is now the same as that of the DOS full screen. - (Fix) The mouse trail is no longer corrupted with 800x600 and 64K colors when a computer whose display memory size is 1MB is used. Installation Guide ------------------ 1. Start DOS and go to the Windows directory (usually C:’WINDOWS). 2. Type SETUP in the Windows directory and press Enter. 3. Using the cursor keys, highlight the Display field. Then press Enter. 4. Select Other (Requires disk ...) in the list. 5. Insert the Video Features Diskette II for Windows 3.1 into the diskette drive. 6. Make sure the path is A:’ and press Enter. 7. Select your favorite resolution and color depth. Then press Enter. 8.
