GET INTO COMMUNITY EDUCATION

 

Community Education is a source of information about community needs focusing on lifelong learning opportunities, community involvement and raising the quality of life in our community.

Community Education extends opportunities to residents of all ages and abilities. If you haven't taken the time to attend one of the many classes, fitness center, or volunteer; I encourage you to do so. It is time for continued learning, experiencing and socializing within your own community. Some opportunities include:

  • Adult enrichment and recreation
  • Youth enrichment
  • Youth development
  • Family outings and trips
  • Adult Basic Education/GED program
  • Early Childhood Family Education and School Readiness
  • Community Fitness Center
  • Big Sandy Water Institute summer youth enrichment program
  • Community programs, speakers & events
  • Intergenerational Resource Center

I am always looking for new instructors to teach classes. If you have a talent or wealth of information you would be willing to share with the community I would like to hear from you.
