"File" menu

Open File... - opens standard WMP 6.4 open file dialog.

Yes, it is not so comfortable as it could be, but you also can type URL here and open additional sound stream which will be available under Play -> Filters -> Audio Switcher menu and can be used as a translation.

Open DVD... - opens DVD with options set in DVD/OGM tab.

Open Device - opens "live" source (TV-tuner, different video capturing device, web-cameras and other ). Read more detailed info on this mode "Live" mode.

Open CD-ROM - if CD drive has Audio CD or (S)VCD inside, you'll see a list of all tracks on the disk. On some systems it may be slow. If you don't need it, put a mark at "Hide CD-ROMs menu" options in a Player tab.

Close - closes current file or playlist.

Save As... - option which I couldn't test yet. It must save decoded or streaming data on disk.

Save Image... - saves current frame as bmp or jpg. This also can be done with the help of hot keys.

Load Subtitle - loads subtitles file.

Save Subtitle - saves subtitles file after resynchronization.

Subtitle Database - opens list with options to access online subtitle database. Subtitles can be downloaded or uploaded to the server. Server's name is set in options.

Properties - shows file properties: size, resolution, tags and other useful info. Tries to show info on streams in file (codec, bitrate, etc.). There will be Resources tab with files list for containers that allow inserted files (Matroska, DSM). Files can be opened for preview or saved on disk.

Utils - shows the list of additional utilits. There is only DSM Converter for now.

Exit - this unique feature can't be described verbally by a sane person :)
