THE DREAM TEAM

Production Notes

There’s a new player in the war against international terrorism and narco-trafficking—The Dream Team--an elite squadron of intelligence agents fighting an enemy who knows only revenge, opportunity and greed. Assembled from both sides of the cold-war, they’re a dream team of criminal interdiction, but a nightmare for drug lords and rogue terrorists. Based in tropical Puerto Rico, The Dream Team operates under the cover of a high-profile commercial production studio of the same name. Fusing elements of classic TV crime and spy dramas like "Miami Vice," "Charlie’s Angels" and "Mission: Impossible," The Dream Team delivers thrilling action, explosive stunts, exotic locations and gorgeous talent to an international audience. Produced by Hamilton Entertainment Group ("Supermodels in the Rainforest," "The Road Home" and "Savage Land") and Expand TV, one of Europe’s leading TV production groups, The Dream Team stars international film icon Roger Moore ("James Bond," "The Saint"), well-known TV star Jeff Kaake ("Viper," "Dynasty"), actress/supermodel Angie Everhart ("Jade," "Last Action Hero"), Traci Bingham ("Baywatch"), and former Miss Photo Poland, Eva Halina. Executive Produced by Dean Hamilton and distributed by BKS Entertainment, LLC. The Dream Team begins airing September 26, 1999.

About the Series

Over the last decade, the Caribbean has emerged from the backwaters of world affairs to become a flash point of international conflict. Seeking to combat the region’s history of corruption and lawlessness, the Organization of American States (OAS) has authorized the secretive Western Hemisphere Protective Association (WHPA) to wage war against criminal and terrorist activities. Tapping legendary spy-master Desmond Heath to organize the response, the WHPA finances a specialized and highly mobile force, to be based in Puerto Rico, crossroads of criminality and terror in the region. Code-named The Dream Team (Dangerous Reconnaissance and Emergency Action Mission), this company of intelligence professionals delivers results where all else has failed.

For Commander Heath, there’s only one choice to oversee the daily operations of The Dream Team: former CIA operative, Zack Hamilton. Using confiscated homes, cars, boats, and aircraft, Zack is set up as a high-profile Puerto Rican Playboy, owner and operator of a red-hot commercial production studio. Choosing his agents for their skill and fearlessness as much as for their beauty, Zack is soon operating what he jokes will be the world’s first money-making undercover operation. Beneath the faτade of high-fashion glamour—the lifestyle, the luxury--there exists a top-secret, lavishly equipped team of agents, fiercely dedicated to each other and to the mission.

Exploiting their privileged entrΘe into the world of money and influence, The Dream Team conducts counter-terrorism under cover of the exotic commercial projects, music videos and photo sessions it produces for clients. Armed with the latest high-tech weapons, surveillance equipment and intelligence devices, The Dream Team intervenes when and where local law enforcement cannot. Relying on direction, counsel and intelligence support from Heath at the U.S. "office," The Dream Team operates as free of bureaucratic red-tape as the criminals they combat.

Besides Zack and Heath, The Dream Team is composed of Kim Taylor, Eva Kirov and Victoria Carrera. A stunning, statuesque red-head, Kim holds the distinction of having being the first female Navy Seal. The only girl in a military family, Kim toyed with modeling prior to pursuing a career in the Navy, graduating from Annapolis before breaking through the Seals gender barrier. Eva Kirov, was born in communist Poland where she was inspired by the Solidarity movement but trained by the KGB because of her extrasensory abilities. Becoming a top fashion model to disguise her work as a spy, she met Zack years before in Moscow, when he convinced her to "double" for the Americans. Ultimately leaving the world of espionage for acting, she is drawn in once more by the charismatic Zack. Last, but not least, exquisite Victoria Carrera spent her childhood as a revolutionary, joining her Central-American countrymen in the violent struggle against a repressive government. Radicalized as a young woman, Victoria used her beauty for "the cause," channeling her modeling earnings to the rebels while anticipating the day she would be her country’s leader. Years before, she risked her life to save Zack from certain death in the Central American jungles.

About The Cast

ROGER MOORE (Desmond Heath) played the title role in seven installments of the world’s most famous film franchise—Ian Fleming’s James Bond. He is, without hyperbole, an international "superstar," recognizable the world over as the debonair, daring and unflappable secret agent. As Bond, he starred in such unforgettable films as "Live and Let Die," "The Man With the Golden Gun," "The Spy Who Loved Me," "For Your Eyes Only," "Moonraker," "Octopussy" and "A View to a Kill." Indeed, so identified is Moore with this role, that younger audiences may be excused for not knowing that for years before he took over "Bond" from the legendary Sean Connery, Moore was already a famous actor, having starred in the stylish ‘60’s spy-series "The Saint" and "Maverick" and later "The Persuaders" with Tony Curtis.

One of the best known British actors of his generation, Moore came to acting by chance and worked for years in relative obscurity as he honed his craft and steadily amassed increasingly significant film roles. Beginning as an extra in such post-war English films as "Vacation From Marriage" and "Ceasar and Cleopatra," Moore put his good looks to work modeling while he was apprenticing in film. He first substantial role in film was "Trottie True," after which a leading role in a television play brought him to Hollywood. His first American film was the memorable, "The Last Time I Saw Paris," starring fellow countryman, Elizabeth Taylor.

Since the mid 1990’s, Moore has taken on perhaps his most satisfying role, serving as a roving ambassador for U.N.I.C.E.F., and following in the tradition of such entertainment luminaries as Audrey Hepburn, Sir Peter Ustinoff and Danny Kaye. In this capacity, Moore travels the world promoting the causes of underprivileged children.

JEFF KAAKE (Zack Hamilton) is an accomplished TV actor with regular roles and notable guest appearances too numerous to mention. Playing Dennis Grimes on that seminal 1980’s prime-time soap, "Dynasty," Kaake became a familiar face to American and International audiences. Since that beginning, he has starred in such series as "Viper," "Hart to Hart," "Space Rangers," "Nasty Boys" and "Lady Boss."

ANGIE EVERHART (Kim Taylor) began modeling at the age of 16 and went on to super-model status, snagging numerous magazine covers and earning the distinction of being the first redhead ever to grace the cover of Glamour. Since 1993, however, Everhart’s reputation as an actress has begun to eclipse her international fame as a modeling beauty. Appearing first in "The Last Action Hero" then "Jade" then "Mad Dog Time," Everhart won more substantial roles in such feature and cable films as "Bordello of Blood" (TV), "Executive Target," "Bittersweet" and "Denial." Besides film acting, Everhart has tried her hand at series TV, appearing as a guest star on popular sitcoms "Caroline in the City" and "3rd Rock From the Sun."

TRACI BINGHAM (Victoria Carrera) got her start in music videos and in the USA Network’s fright-series, Tales From the Crypt--"Demon Knight." However, she is best know to domestic and international audiences for her three year stint on the world’s most popular television show, "Baywatch," where the gorgeous Bingham played Jordan Tate. More recently, Bingham showed her comic talents on the hit game show, "The Hollywood Squares." In addition to her regular series work, Bingham has made a number of guest appearances, including work on "Married With Children," "Head Over Heels" and "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

CAPRICE (Caprice) is a one woman-media and entertainment industry, known for her work as a print and commercial model, actress, internet and television personality, beauty columnist, travel series hostess and most recently singer and songwriter. The multi-talented Caprice moved to London in 1996 and quickly became one of the most recognizable faces in the United Kingdom and Europe, appearing on over a dozen magazine covers and as the "face" of such international brands as Pizza Hut, Pantene and H&M. As an actress, she made her first foray into acting with a cameo on the award winning comedy "Hospital" for Channel 5 and followed that debut with the still televised ITV series "Caprice’s Travels," and later, opposite John Gordon Sinclair, in ITV's "Loved by You." Her first single for Virgin Records, "Oh Yeah," was released in August 1999, and is to be followed up by a first album (as part of a five album deal signed with Virgin) in the Spring of 2000.

EVA HALINA (Eva Kirov) a former Miss Photo Poland, is making her TV debut with The Dream Team.
