           This  song  was  made  back when I was still a Crusader,
           i.e.   some  two years ago, but like all the other music
           on  this disk, the song hasn't been spread out in public
           until now.

           Like  everything  else  on this disk, this song was made
           for  a  special  purpose  once,  and  this time it was a
           slideshow.  A good friend of mine named Steve Middleton,
           often  called  "Havok"  in the Amiga world, was making a
           slideshow,   which   was  demonic,  sinister  and  quite
           frightening.  He asked me to make a piece of music which
           went  well with the appearance of the slideshow, i.e.  a
           bit  of  a "hellish" piece.  I made Oblivion and gave it
           to  him,  then  I  sat  back and waited for the finished
           slideshow to appear.  It never did.

           About  half  a  year  ago, another friend of mine, Simon
           Plumbe,  who  is  the publisher of the disk magazine The
           Final Frontier (for Star Trek fans) asked me for a song,
           and I let him use "Oblivion".  But that's the only place
           where  this  song  has appeared before, and I doubt that
           many  of  you  have ever heard it before.  I suspect not
           that  many  music  fans  read a disk magazine about Star
           Trek...

           So,  this  song  too,  has  been  kept  (more  or  less)
           privately until the release on AM/FM Special Disk #4.
