Songs popularized by James Tayor, taken from the newsgroup in MIDI format
alt.binaries.sounds.midi and translated to MIDI Synth for the Apple IIGS
by Dave Tribby.

Be sure to include the required instrument (.BNK) and associated
waveform (.WAV) files in the directory with the sequence files,
if required by your sequence player.

The raw MIDI files were translated to MIDI Synth by MIDI Surgeon 2.0,
published in the Jul/Aug 1995  GS+ magazine. For information, write

James Taylor's "Country Road" This piece was assembled using Cakewalk
Pro for windows version 3.0.  I entered it without the use of a
keyboard, one note at a time using Cakewalk's staff mode.  The end
product is not so much a testament to my orchestration or musical
abilities, as it is to Cakewalk's extraordinary flexibility and ease
of use.  I started with the sheet music (easy piano) and worked from
there.  This version is orchestrated with accoustic guitar, bass
guitar, piano and three drum lines.  This is the first midi piece that
I have constructed, and I spent approximately 10 hours assembling it.
I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed working on it.
